
Datacate Receives 2016 Sustainable Business Award And County BOS Resolution
On Tuesday, September 13, 2016, at the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors Chambers, Datacate Inc along with other 2016 BERC Award Winners was presented with a resolution by the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors recognizing its accomplishment(s) in sustainable business practices. Datatcate, Inc Co-Founder and Director of Operations Joshua Hovinga accepted the resolution on behalf of Datacate, Inc.
The following week, BERC held a public awards ceremony at the Tsakopoulos Library Galleria in downtown Sacramento. The ceremony recognized top environmentally proactive Sacramento area businesses whose work practices demonstrate an outstanding commitment to enhancing sustainability. Cheri Chastian, sustainability manager for Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., delivered the keynote speech during the event. Datacate, Inc Co-Founder/President Damon Brown and Co-Founder/Vice President Ed LaFrance accepted the award on behalf of Datacate, Inc. SMUD Director and Board member David Tamayo presented the Award. Datacate is the 2016 award winner in the category of energy efficiency.
