Datacate Receives 2018 Sustainable Business Award And County BOS Resolution

On Tuesday, September 11th, 2018, at the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors Chambers, Datacate Inc along with other 2018 BERC Award Winners was presented with a resolution by the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors recognizing its accomplishment(s) in sustainable business practices. Datatcate’s Co-Founder Damon Brown and VP of Business Development Ed LaFrance accepted the resolution on behalf of Datacate, Inc.

The following week, BERC held a public awards ceremony at the Golden 1 Center in downtown Sacramento. The ceremony recognized top environmentally proactive Sacramento area businesses whose work practices demonstrate an outstanding commitment to enhancing sustainability. Datacate Co-Founder Damon Brown accepted the award on behalf of Datacate, Inc. Datacate is the 2018 award winner in the category of energy conservation. This event marks the second year that Datacate has received Sac BERC’s Sustainable Business Award – Datacate was a 2016 Award Winner as well.

Media coverage and accounts of the awards ceremony included CBS Sacramento and other outlets. Sac BERC commissioned a short video about Datacate’s energy efficiency initiatives, which was shown at the ceremony.
